This herbaceous peony is easily grown in fertile garden soil. Plant in part shade and enjoy fragrant flowers for almost two weeks each spring. Native to the forested areas of Siberia, Manchuria, China, and Japan there are varities that bloom white, red, and burgandy/purple.
