Garden Closed

The United States Botanic Garden (USBG) is temporarily closed to the public to reduce the risk of transmitting COVID-19 coronavirus.

Whenever possible, the USBG will reschedule public programs and events originally scheduled during the closure period. Please monitor the USBG website at for updates to operating status. Many resources can still be accessed online, including educational worksheets and manuals, fact sheets and more, and some of our programs will also be made available online.

Take a Virtual Tour

As a museum with a living collection, our exhibits, displays and plants are always changing. No two visits are exactly alike!

To get a feel for what you might see when you come visit the U.S. Botanic Garden, we encourage you take our virtual tour. You'll get a peek at our Conservatory, National Garden and Bartholdi Park, but the plant displays and exhibits are likely to be different each time you come.
